Sofie at Soil & Fleurs is a Scandinavian Flower Farmer and Florist that lives and farms on the Cheshire/Shropshire boarder in the UK. She creates Wildly Romantic floral art full of movement, loose, sligthly wild and whimsical in an traditional English country house style or her own Wildly romantic style . She is influenced by her childhood in the Swedish countryside and anything French but also Her love for Gardens, seasonality, British flowers, sustainability, the environment and foraging along hedgerows.
The flower farm is situated in the Victorian Walled garden above the beautiful village of Marbury surrounded by rolling parkland and the beautiful Marbury Mere. Sofie can often be found in here with her flower dog, Lola and her son, the little helper. Starting her flowers from seed in the quintessentially English Victorian glass house, the old gal that the family are currently slowly bringing back to its former glory.
Sofie has a warm and approachable manner with a passion for the countryside, soil health and a care for sustainability and protection of the environment. She loves growing unusual and usual flowers from seed and she is at her happiest in her gumboots with her hands in the soil.
Sofies weddings and classes are bespoke and she will work intimately with the couples and the attendees to create floral magic.
